Our team is truly grateful for the opportunity we have been given to serve others in the intellectual and developmental disability community. We were inspired by long-time friends to take the leap, follow our hearts, and build connections in this community. Our hope is to inspire others to step out of the box and follow their passions as well. Thank you for visiting us, and in advance for allowing us to provide high quality, dependable and trustworthy care to your loved ones!
Erin has more than 20 years' experience in the business and accounting fields, and has been a community volunteer for many years as well. Her heart for service led her to create a local non-profit for her daughter, and she has most recently served as a volunteer in the hiking club for a local chapter of Special Olympics. After many years of working in an office, Erin has found her passion and is excited to extend her heart and service to the developmental disability community.
Hi, my name is Shannon and I joined the Inspire Connections team as the Operations Manager. I ensure the day-to-day activities in the office run smoothly, and I manage all client intake, scheduling and payroll / billing processes. I have a background in personnel and resource management and have worked in the service industry for the past 20 years. I'm excited to be part of this team and enjoy serving our clients and support staff in this role!
My name is Claire, and I am the Westside Coordinator here at Inspire Connections. I have been with the company since it opened in 2020, and I love being able to help our clients find their perfect fit when it comes to having a support worker. My first exposure in this field was when I was 16 years old and given the opportunity to work with a camper that was considered a “One on One” at camp. I was a brand-new camp counselor at the time, and I was assigned to an individual with a developmental disability as well as a physical disability. It was my job to help them feel more welcomed at camp and to help them achieve their goal of doing all the activities that the rest of the cabin got to participate in. I also was a caregiver at an assisted living facility in the memory care unit, so I have a lot of experience with dementia and helping those with Alzheimer’s navigate their day. I absolutely love what I do and enjoy having the opportunity to help this population thrive in our community and feel a sense of belonging.
Hi! My name is Ruby and I am the Client Intake and New Hire Coordinator for Multnomah and Clackamas counties. I assist with onboarding and connecting our clients and DSP’s and I also assist our Spanish speaking community. Working in this field has been the most rewarding; it has given me opportunities for personal growth, and I love being able to help others do the same. At the beginning of 2021, I was hired part-time as a Direct Support Professional and part-time assisting in the office. Eventually I transitioned into full-time and let me tell you… I love the ambiance here. I consider this team family and I am grateful to have the opportunity to support this community.
My name is Dana, and I am the Compliance Coordinator. I assist the support staff with ensuring all State requirements and individual certifications are current. I also ensure our office systems are up to date and running smoothly. I recently worked as an intake specialist in County government, and I'm excited to support this community and the workers who make such a difference in the lives of others!
